Ankle + Foot Center of Tampa Bay, P.A.

The Ankle + Foot Center of Tampa Bay, PA is a single specialty podiatric group practice located throughout the Tampa Bay tricounty area. The practice consists of 12 podiatrists serving 11 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. All of the podiatrists are currently either board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. We strive to deliver the best podiatric care and to stay current with the latest podiatric medical and surgical techniques.

The Ankle + Foot Center of Tampa Bay, P.A. also is the administrator of an independent physician association, IPA. This IPA, Podiatry First Inc., allows us to administer the delivery of quality podiatric care throughout the state of Florida. The insurance companies with which we have a relationship find this extremely beneficial, as they can provide their insured members with a large number of podiatric specialists by interacting with a single experienced organization.

Scope of Care

The Ankle + Foot Center provides podiatric medical and surgical care, and consultation. The physicians provide outpatient and inpatient medical and surgical services, as well as clinical office hours. The offices are open up to ten hours each day, five days per week. X-ray and physical therapy are available at every location. Diagnostic ultrasound imaging is also available at the S. Tampa office location.

Ankle + Foot Centers are registered with Medicare to provide extra depth diabetic shoes, custom footwear, and various foot and ankle braces to those that qualify. We provide custom orthotic therapy to alleviate or resolve foot and ankle problems. The podiatrists of the Ankle + Foot Center are certified in the delivery of extracorporeal shock wave therapy-ESWT. This treatment has proven very beneficial for those suffering from chronic resistant heel pain.

We strive to alleviate or correct our patient's complaint, and also to provide a compassionate approach in a pleasant environment. We request feedback from our patients to help us enhance their care and improve our performance.
